Dit is die tuisblad van Johan Crous Skrywer van Brackenfell, Kaapstad. Op hierdie blad ve\"Afr\"<\/a>rskyn my boeke wat ek gepubliseer het, artikels en ander belangstellings. Ek skakel ook na programme en ander skrywers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ek het tot op datum 41 boeke gepubliseer, met nog 7 in skryf stadium. My boeke is tans nog net in Afrikaans, met die boeke in Engels in die voorsienbare toekoms. Daardie nag is reeds in Engels vertaal. Die vertaler het ongelukkig afgesterwe. Na die weghol sukses van my eerste speurverhaal, sluit ek nou speurverhale ook in by my verskeidenheid.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

My voorkeur is romantiese avonture. Ek skryf as stokperdjie en my vrou publiseer my boeke onder Karin Publikasies.
\nJohan Crous is \u2018n gesinsman, getroud, met twee dogters. Ek is ‘n pensioenaris na ek 41 jaar in die Polisiediens gewerk het.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Na \u2018n reeks operasies, waar ek maar gesukkel het om te loop, het ek uit verveeldheid begin skryf. Ek het al jare die lus gehad om dit te doen, en toe ek eers begin het, het ek laat waai. Ek het net vir myself geskryf en nie \u2018n duiwel omgegee wat skryfre\u00ebls vereis nie, buiten spelre\u00ebls en taalgebruik nie.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Na ek \u2018n hele paar boeke geskryf het, het ek gewonder wat ander mense van my boeke sal s\u00ea. Ek het aansoek gedoen om die ISBN nommers, om my eie regte te beskerm, en die boek as gratis gepubliseer by eReads.co.za. Die terugvoer wat ek ontvang het was oorweldigend en vleiend. Sedertdien skryf ek steeds.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ek skryf hoofsaaklik vir vrouens, want dit is meestal vrouens wat romantiese boeke lees, alhoewel ek manlike lesers ook het. Ek het geleer om vrouens eers uit te vra oor wat hulle wil lees en in \u2018n verhaal soek. Hulle praat ook nie altyd die waarheid nie. Die meeste het nee ges\u00eb vir \u2018n verhouding tussen \u2018n ouer vrou en jonger man, maar hierdie onderwerp boeke is my gewildstes. Ek skryf slegs vir altyd gelukkige eindes. My boeke bevat stomende bedtonele, maar is nie vulg\u00ear nie.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ek het ander liefdes ook, onder andere groenteverbouiing, metaalwerk, kamp, hengel en lees.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have published 40 books so far with 7 more in the writing phase. My books are currently only in Afrikaans, with the books in English in the foreseenable future. Daardie Nag is already translated in English. Sadly the translator past away. After the runaway success of my first detective novel, I will nou include detectives stories in my variety.

My preference are romantic adventures. I write as a hobby and my wife publish them under Karin Publications.

Johan Crous is a family man, married, with two daughters. I am a pensioner after I served 41 years in the Police Service.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After a series of surgical operations, where I struggled to walk, I started to write out of boredom. For years I had the itch to write, but when I started, I went all the way. I have written for myself alone, and did not give a hell for what writing style prescribed, alone for spelling rules grammar rules.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After I have completed a few books, I wondered what other people would think about my books. I applied for ISBN numbers, to protect my own rights, and I published the book for free at eReads.co.za. The feedback I received was overwelming and flattering. Therefore I am writing since.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am writing mostly for women, as it is mostly women who read romantic books, although I have male readers too. I have learned to ask women what they want to read and what they are looking for in a story.They are not always telling the truth. The majority said no for a relationship between an older woman and a younger man, but these books, there are three, are the most popular. I only write happy, for ever after endings. My books include steaming hot bed scenes, but are not vulgar.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have other interests as well, vegetable cultivation, metalworking camping, angling and reading.<\/strong><\/p>\n
